My grandfather started the business in 1947 at a small yard in St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex after coming out of the war as a Royal Marine, he worked there with my father & his two brothers. It was hard work in them days, they didn't have all the car breaking & towing equipment like we have nowadays, but one thing does remain the same “recycling”.
